CodeChef CIEM Chapter recently hosted a long competition on Competitive Programming. The contest started from 21st of November 5PM (IST) and ended on 27th of November 5PM (IST).
The promotion for this week long contest started a couple of weeks ago with the ultimate goal of bringing as many people as possible to compete and get an exposure of Long Challenges.
The contest had five questions each of them were standard ones designed specially for the beginners taking part in the contest. The supporting partners for this event was Palinoia an organisation promoting the coding culture on CIEM college campus and Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management.
With a massive participation across the World from countries including USA, Australia, Armenia, Germany, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Malaysia and India the contest received a total of over 3200 submissions.
531 distinct participants took part in the contest with 493 of them managed to get atleast one of the problems solved correctly.
